12 new students commence their studying at Lexis Korea from this week.

Leonard, Uwe, Sabine and Pham Kim Hoa from Germany, Tiffany and Lane from Canada , Andrea from Switzerland, Xi Lang from China, Haruna from Japan, Jian Yih and Yeong Yih from Malaysia, Sanna from Sweden!!

12 students are from 7 different countries! They are interested in learning Korean and Korea culture. Please say ‘Hello/안녕하세요’ and big welcome to our new students. We hope you have and great memories and good experience with Lexis Korea!

이번 주는 12명의 새로운 학생들과 다시 돌아온 2명의 학생들이 렉시스에서 첫 수업을 시작했어요.

독일에서 온 레오,우베 그리고 킴, 캐나다에서 온 청호이와 레인, 스위스에서 온 안드레아, 중국에서 온 희랑, 일본에서 온 하루나, 말레이시아에서 온 지안이 그리고 영이, 스웨덴에서 온 산나!!

이번 주, 12명의 렉시스 신입학생들과 다시 돌아온 학생들은 각자 다른 7개국에서 온 한국에 관심이 많은 학생이에요. 신입 학생들을 만나면 반갑게 인사해주세요. 환영합니다!

Here is our activity calender for August!

It’s August already!!

Every Monday, we have our Gangnam tour for new students. We have Korean movie day each Wednesday! On Thursdays, there are study groups and don’t forget every two weeks we host the Lexis Meetup. Every other Tuesday there are special activities such as traditional Korean fan making or Korean postcard making. On Fridays, we like to get out and about in the afternoon, so we have outdoor activities lined up….. except on the 15th when it is the National Liberation Day. So no school on that day as it is a public holiday!

On the 8th, we have our famous Student Night to look forward to…you can sleep in and recover on the 9th. We have a tour to Insadong(인사동) and a performance at Unhyeon Palace on the other Fridays. Finally, prepare yourselves for a K-Food contest on the 22nd of August, when students can show off their Korean cooking skills!

So don’t miss out on any activities since it will be a LOT of fun!
