Lexis Busan students visited Haedong Yonggungsa Temple (#해동용궁사) in Busan to welcome the beginning of spring this year. With the warm weather in Busan, we could already smell the scent of flowers.🌸 This attraction offers visitors the rare opportunity to see a temple situated along the shoreline, a rarity in Korea where most temples are located in the mountains. Buddhist temples are also known to be special and exotic to foreigners, especially Westerners, who are new to East Asian cultures.🪷Our students tried all the activities that visitors should do, such as praying to a Buddha statue, making a wish with a flying lucky coin, and writing their wishes on the roof tile which will be used for repairing temple buildings in the future.🙏
