At LEXIS KOREA not only do we offer Korean classes for International students but we also have IELTS and Cambridge English classes for Korean students. On Friday the International students and the Korean students met for the first time and enjoyed a fun dinner to exchange languages and get to know each other. The students enjoyed traditional Korean pancakes “Jeon” and rice wine “Makgeolli” which is served from a kettle into bowls. It was great to see the students interacting with each other despite their language differences and was a fantastic opportunity for everyone to try out their language skills.

レクシス・コリア日本人スタッフのアスカ（아주카）です。
レクシス・コリアでは海外からの生徒達が通う韓国語クラスにと現地の韓国人生徒達が受けるIELTS英語クラスがあります。
授業の時間帯も教室も違うため、あまり交流が無いのがもったいない！と感じたレクシスのスタッフでちょっとした親睦会を開きました。
みんなで日本のお好み焼きと似ている、韓国の伝統料理「ジョン」とお米のお酒「マッコリ」を頂きました。
言葉の壁がありながらもあっという間に生徒達は打ち解け、楽しく母国のゲームを紹介し合い遊んでいました。
一緒に授業を受けている多国籍な仲間に加え、現地の生徒達とも交流が出来るがレクシス・コリアの魅力の一つです。
今後もこのような交流イベントを提案していきたいと思います！
